Where do the papers come from?

ARIA searches PubMed, the largest biomedical literature database maintained by the National Library of Medicine. For full-text analysis, we fetch from PubMed Central (PMC) when available.

Is my research data private?

Yes. Your library, chat history, and writing projects are stored securely and never shared with other users. We use server-side analytics with no third-party tracking cookies.

What AI models power ARIA?

ARIA uses Google Gemini for paper analysis and writing, with Cloudflare Workers AI as a fallback. Both models are accessed via secure API — your data is not used for model training.

Who is ARIA built for?

Can I export my library?

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and research profile information (field, subfield, research topic, keywords, institution). We also store papers you import from PubMed and content generated through our AI features.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used exclusively to power ARIA's personalized research features: paper scoring, AI chat, writing assistance, digests, and enrichment. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. AI Processing

ARIA uses Cloudflare Workers AI and Google Gemini to analyze papers and generate content. Your research data is sent to these AI services only for processing your requests. We do not use your data to train AI models.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely on Cloudflare's D1 database infrastructure. Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication (Google). Payment processing is handled by Stripe — we never store your credit card information.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at support@researcharia.com.

6. Cookies & Analytics

ARIA uses essential cookies and local storage for authentication session management only. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics services. We collect anonymous, aggregated usage data (page views and feature usage counts) to improve the product. This data is stored on our servers and is never shared with third parties.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may export your paper library at any time. To exercise these rights, contact support@researcharia.com.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using ARIA, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service Description

ARIA is an AI-powered academic research assistant that provides literature discovery, paper analysis, research writing assistance, and personalized digests. ARIA is a research tool — it does not provide medical, legal, or professional advice.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information during registration. You may not share your account with others.

4. Subscription & Billing

ARIA offers a 14-day free trial. After the trial, continued access requires an active subscription at $14.99/month. Payments are processed by Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time — access continues until the end of your billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) use ARIA for any unlawful purpose, (b) attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit the service, (c) submit content that infringes on intellectual property rights, (d) use automated tools to abuse the API, or (e) resell access to the service.

6. AI-Generated Content

Content generated by ARIA's AI features (chat responses, writing drafts, digests, ideas) is provided as a research aid. You are responsible for verifying accuracy, checking citations, and ensuring compliance with your institution's academic integrity policies. ARIA does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your research data and any content you upload. AI-generated content produced through your use of ARIA is yours to use. ARIA and its underlying technology remain the intellectual property of ARIA Research.

8. Limitation of Liability

ARIA is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to inaccurate AI outputs, data loss, or service interruptions.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@researcharia.com.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of ARIA after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
